I know someone posted a pic of their exhaust and thought they had smashed it up near the cat. I noticed that mine is smashed not round like the rest of the pipe on the exhaust. Its an 07 and has not been off road yet. Is this normal?

I saw that on mine to and was wondering what the heck. It looks like a restriction to me.
What is the purpose? To clear the T-Bar?

Totally normal meaning that's the way gm makes it. I think it sucks. It's hard to believe that those restrictions do anything but rob horsepower from us.

No RYD, just some noobie spouting off, thinking that restriction is robbing him of tons of HP.

That smashed part of the exhaust is nothing. Have you ever seen the stock Y pipe on an F-body? The inside diameter of the pipe is probably pretty close to the rest of the pipe anyways.
