Love working nights all the days run together.:)

But I'm going to sleep so good night to all.
Next weekend I go to swings so I get to see what the sun looks like for a month. Time to dig out the sun glasses.

Tis Sunday here as well!!!! Imagine that.

I imagine most of the H2ers are out there making money instead of chatting away on a silly message board. ;)

Took the 2 yr old to see fireworks last night. This is the first year he hasn't slept through them. All day today, we hear "Fireworks go BOOM!!!" The show was small - it was put on by our HOA - but not bad. Although 3 large ones did go off on the ground. Whoops. Some neighbors were setting them off, but we couldn't hear them. I love being out of the ghet-to. :jump:

We just got back from spending the weekend at Mountain Lake (The resort where they filmed "Dirty Dancing" :D). It was fantastic. The view, the lake, all the stuff to do, the food - everything. Highly recommend it.

:beerchug:

Now, checking email.......... and delaying unpacking.:shhh: :giggling:

Steaks tonight.

Good Morning
Just waking up, drinking coffee. Gotta go to work here in another couple of hours.
Not a buisy weekend. Put a new front door in. Kind of hard to do too much working nights. I don't think the neighbors would apriciate hearing a circular saw a 3 am.
Of course not being married makes life easier:jump:

I start the night shift on Tuesday. I have to do 3months on days, then 3 months on nights. They (military) say it is necessary to have "face time" with the Col's. I particularly like nights better, not as much admin crap going on and so much brass walking around that requires my attention.

Crap it Sunday night and I fly out early Monday morning to go check on my Dad. I pray this trip won't be as bad I as I am thinking.

Happy 4th everyone!!!

K9H3's - Good luck on that trip. Hope for the best.

Sunday was pleasant here, sunny and high 70's, convertible weather. Heat wave is coming mid-week according to the new report.

Retired AirForce 20 years enlisted. My last 9 were working in the hospital. And I don't miss it at all. Didn't help I refused to play their politics and there was always some some clown who was offended when you told them the truth. Estpecialy when it was something they didn't want to hear.
I also don't miss the words "well just make it work".
Damn I'm glad that part of my life is over. Don't get me wrong I worked for some great people but the bad ones over shadowed the good.

Sorry your experience sucked. There are those type people, not only in the military, but also in the civilian sector as well. I don't regret the AF, I was Army 7 years. It is a bit different though going from enlisted to officer. However, as easy as being on the "officer side of the house" seems, it is alot of admin crap and alot of taking responsibility when crap goes wrong...that you had no idea about in the first place. Anyway, I love my job, the avenues for advancement, and the people I work for and with. But, as bad as things may have seemed, I do appreciate your service, b/c if it wasn't for people like yourself, our country would not be able to sustain itself. Thanks....Jamie

did you dance ?

No, maybe did a lil happy dance when I ate the prime rib on Sat night :D, but that's it. It's not a dancing resort like in the movie.

K9 - I'll be thinking of you.

Sprat and Desert- Thanks for your service.:beerchug:
