Does anyone know if the auto-volume control works on the 2004 model? I checked previous posts and have not found a definitive statement.

Probably not. I don't know of anyone that has a working auto-volume.

My 03 is only 2 months old and has never worked. Just isnt a big enough deal to me to drive it all the way back to the stealership. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I feel the same as above. Plus I had it on my z06 and i did not really care for it.
