Ok I have a 2005 H2 with the hard spare cover and where the tag goes it is a whole for the tag plate to sit in and the light above.
I want to use the spare cover to advertise. is there a brkt I can buy to move the tag to the left side around the bumper area and low enough not to hit the swing arm of the spare?
I seen one a few weeks ago but couldn't quite make out how it was attached.
thanks

you can use a bracket from earlier h2s that had the plate holder and light attached to the drivers side tow hook or if you dont use your hitch much you can use a hitch mount plate holder like mine.

Nice, didyou make that, or did you buy it? Also it doesn't look as though it has the light attached to it. Does your state require having a tag light? Thanks...and nice looking truck by the way.....jamie

Thanks a mil. That is kinda what I have been looking for. I'd like to show-off the rear spare instead of having the plastic thingy couver it up. I will get on ebay tonight and see if I can find one with the light. I believe its against the law to not have a lighted plate in Florida. Thanks again.....Jamie

I looked on ebay, and nothing. Do you have a company name or anything from where you got one with the light on it? Thanks....Jamie

here ya go ,do a search for lighted plate frame theres more.you can run your wires through the hitch so you dont even see them.also try to get a hitch lock from pepboys ,so someone dosent walk away with your plate.

How would I incorporate that to work in the hitch...its just the plate frame? Also, how would I run the wires through the hitch? Thanks for doing research into this for me...I appreciate it....Jamie

Also, how did you get the center cap on the spare? If it is the stock spare carrier, it has a protruding metal piece that extends out that has the light fixture on the end. Did you somehow cut it down, or what. I hate to start cutting, but if I have to ...oh well. I have a pic I can post up if you are unsure what I am talking about. Thanks again...Jamie

the lighted frame has the wires on it ,tap into the existing tag light and run the wires trough the
hitch from behind the bumper.

You know...I thught that dot was a reflection of something in the fore ground. Very nice indeed, however I couldn't cut on my wheels, but being a stocker, wouldn't be an issue. Well, I guess I could always order another center cap from the manufactuer. Thanks man. Also, what did you use to cut that thing? It seems pretty freaking thick! Thanks bro....Jamie
