So you think that guy just didn't see you and just pulled out in front of you?
That small car, driven by that blonde, just happen to pull from behind you, than in front of you because she has no sense?
This guy wasn't even driving.....

So..... The biggest thing people say about my rig is gas. My most common reply is " As long as the Arabs will keep pumping it, I will keep buying it ". I always say it with a little attitude as well. (cheeky I know)
Who are these tree huggers to tell me what I can and/or can't drive? I have a right to have a choice what I choose to drive. Just like they have the same choice to drive their little hybrids.
Infact, why isn't there any attention of the same pointed towards Ford or Chevy?

F-that! I cant even type anything I am so irritated by these people. It makes me want to start an anti tree hugger group and go out prius bashing. Coming from a hippie thats pretty bad. How about respect for your neighbor or fellow american in general. F global warming, its already warm anyway. Whats worse, driving a car that gets 25 miles less a gallon than them or their dumbasses supporting the Japanese economy or an economy other than America's? They should all move to Japan. Get the F out of America.
For all they know this guy could be a dedicated recycler making up for his gas guzzling work of art.
Tree huggers F-off! :fdance:

I'm game - I am only three hours NW of DC.
And global warming my tailpipe - look at the core samples that showed that Mother Earth was "relatively" (scientific term) warmer in the 1890s than she is now - post-industrial revolution.
She warms and cools just like any woman :dancingbanana:
And what about those facts that the Prius is actually worse for the environment than the Hummer due to long term toxicity? I bet you don't see that on many tree-hugger bumper stickers.
I want to create a bumper sticker that says - "I love tree huggers - they make for great off-road paint protection!"

Many of these alleged conservationists driving MPG star cars. Actually rack up 100+ miles per day communting. In effect they use/waste more energy than many Hummer owners.:violin:
Saw the other posts from the H2 thread. I can be there in 40 minutes.
DC Metropolitan Police Department:
No blot about the incident yet:

And Another reason I have a Viper SST 5900 Alarm. F5 Also had a problem with slashed tires. He also has a Viper installed now. The alarm will send you a notice of which sensor has gone off. In this case it would have been the Shock/Proximity Sensor.
I sleep better at night at home and when I'm at work knowing if some one attcaks my 3 ..I'll get notice at that time.
Maybe this is your wake up call to think about an alarm for your rig.

I def have been thinking of installing some kind of security on my truck. I have been trying to research some, however the shops around here seem to only feel comfortable installing the "Wal-Mart" special.

Stay away from that gack. Go to Vipers web site and look for the SST 5900. It's the only model with a 1 mile transmit range to and from the unit. The other models shown have the SST techknowlogy , but not the range of the 5900.
Also ..search for an Auth Viper delaer on the web site. Viper is not sold over the counter but only by it's auth installers. You might find them on ebay or at a store here and there..but your better off at a Auth installer.

Let it be known that I HATE ALL TREE HUGGING IDIOTS.
I'd love to run over one of those tree huggers and I am not talking about running over their car. If someone did that to my Hummer I'd well I can't say in print what I'd do but lets just say I hope their life insurance policy is paid up.
Here in KY we really don't have much of that stuff. People are pretty respectful of others properties.
Anyone know how much the Viper Alarm costs?

Another neighbor, Lani Fremaux, 58, said she bought a T-shirt months ago with a picture of a Hummer and above it the word "Bummer." She wore the shirt proudly but said she is so upset with recent events on her street that she might retire it.
"They've got everything at their disposal in this city to make a statement in a legal way," Fremaux said of the bat-wielding men who struck out at the Hummer. "I consider this a hate crime."
Like the lady says, just wear your "Bummer" t-shirt and protest legally. Ecoterrorists are shooting themselves in the foot with these hate crimes.
But just as likely, it wasn't ecoterrorists trashing his H2 ... could have been teenage punks on a dare using the environment as a cover.
Wow. I just read the article. I live a few blocks from this guy and the police captain mentioned in the article lives a couple of houses down from me.
I've never heard of or worried about an eco-attack here before.
My neighbors also tend to be the liberal prius driving types, but they're all cool with my H3 and even seem to get a kick out of me power-washing mud down the alley every month or so. Regardless, there's no GD way I'd park my truck on the street in D.C. at night.

Or Redskin fans sick of watching him parade around the neighborhood in a Chargers jersey.

I spoke with Allison today, she stated that she felt this is a hate crime.
"Hate comes in many forms, from race, gender, laptops, to even cell phones. Often hate is a target, a defined target such as Mr. Groves does not suprise me."
I asked her why this happened.

These idiots don't seem to understand that global warming is not only an earth problem. According to NASA every planet in our solar system has increased in temperature about 12 degrees. Therefore it is not simply a matter of driving fuel efficient cars and installing solar panels.
Hummers themselves are not the enemy. I don't hear about these cowards attacking Escalades, Navigators, Expeditions, giant pickup trucks or gas guzzling super sports cars, they too get less than stellar fuel economy.
lance-n
07-23-2007, 10:50 PM
let's hope they dont realize that boats and planes burn way more fuel than any cars.
we went fishing last saturday and burned around 200 gallons of diesel and we didn't even run the boat very hard.
there are no emission equipment on marine diesel engines.
they don't produce black smoke like old diesels used to, but they sure do emit more CO2 and CO than any vehicles that are on the roads.
look at construction equipment. we are currently developing a 1300 acre master planned community. the heavy machinery currently operating on our property are constantly spewing diesel smoke into the sky. i dont think any construction equipment is regulated for greenhouse gases. these big cranes, bulldozers and earthmovers are massive and it takes quite a few hp's to do perform their jobs. the black smoke rising around here is pretty thick. it has to be just as thick anywhere there is new development. i dont see the tree huggers chaining up or otherwise molesting our construction equipment.
i am sure that the prius owners aren't the ones destroying hummers in these instances. i remember seeing some article that the people that purchase hybrids tend to be well educated, high wage earners and are not prone to violence. i bet that these are the works of young kids on some dare trying to earn some "respect" from their peers. too bad they will just end up in jail before they are 18 at this rate...
