License plate relocation

I mentioned this on another thread so I figured I oughtta post up some details. ;)

I used the bracket from Off-Road-Only (https://secure48.mysecureorder.net/offroadonly/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=244&osCsid=c1972abdd3f5fc77adc076bafe20fda1)to mount the plate to the spare tire.

I used Lite N Boltz (bolts with LEDs in them) to light the plate. Probably not legal in CA. :shhh:

Tapped into the existing plate wiring, ran it up behind the taillight, into the tailgate and out the vent. I added a quick disconnect so everything can be easily removed to get the spare off.

As I mentioned in the other thread, there's no mounting points behind the bumper on the left side so I couldn't add another d-ring. At some point I'll get a plate welded on the frame rail so I can add it.
