Is there a way to copy video's from You-Tube? I really like the Hummer Tribute vid and would like to show some of the people at work. Being government computers, you-tube will not play and is restricted. Thanks for any help....Jamie

Geeze.... you n00bs. Get Firefox, get the VideoDownloader add-on. Follow their directions, convert the flv to avi/mpg, blah!

you should be able to right click the movie and then select "save target" and save it on your desktop. That is normally how you save a movie.

Mike right click save target as - not an option on mac in safari only can save a single frame.

If you really have a ton... you might consider getting your own server, check out www.rackspace.com.

Got the software, however I don't see the option to download or change the format. Any help please....thanks....Jamie:beerchug:

Read the instructions! Enable the VideoDownloader, check it so it's in the status bar. While on the youtube page, click the icon in the status bar. A window will pop-up with a link to download the video in flv format. Download it. Open up a converting program, SUPER works well. Drag the flv onto the program, convert and the new avi will be in c:\.

The following website can save the video clips from YouTube to your computer , you will need Riva FLV Player 1.2 to play them which is a free software , you can also download
Free Riva FLV Encoder 2.0 to
convert the clips to other formats , therefore you can use WMP and
other players , or you can convert them if you need to edit them.
