Gag. They're really going for the fcuking loud-mouth morons, who know nothing but have a lot to say. Whoopi's got to be one of the few people dumber than Rosie. Seriously, I'd bet money that Whoopie doesn't have an IQ higher than 80, and we're supposed to listen to her mindless drivel because she'll be "controversial," like when Rosie accused the U.S. government of sabotaging the twin towers because fire cannot melt steel. http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=NmU4ZjJkMGE2ZGU4OWIzNTFkOTlmNDBhZmNkNWRmMDI=
Who wants to listen to people that dumb talk about U.S. foreign policy and the like? I listen to the news fairly often when I commute, but if that was the only "news" on, I'd rather just listen to my engine and turn signal.

Whatever !!!!!

Ted Danson is one of my idols. If Whoopi's clam jam is good enough for him, it's good enough for me.

And let's not start discussing who was really responsible for 911. Some of our friendships here haven't even fully healed from the last conspiracy clash.:clapping:

Good point. Though you might try to separate the character from the actor.

Hanson's a prescient one--a very very smart dude:

"In 1988, Hollywood actor Ted Danson preached a ten-year time frame to save our oceans. If we ignored his prophecy, were told, the consequence would be our own destruction." http://nationalconversation.typepad.com/the_national_conversation/generational_politics/index.html

I remember this too.

I just really want to hear what he and Whoopeeee have to say about science, history, current events, the environment, geopolitical strategy, etc... because those two have a lot of insight on that sort of stuff.

The fact the Ted Danson fcuked Whoopie might just confirm his stupidity.
