Out here in the Northeast were getting are butt's kicked with this Heat Wave. And when you leave the house or work and walk outside and get smacked the the face with that oven heat..you can't wait to get to your 3 and dial up the A/C on "Recr" and Top Vent Out Let Full..!!

My 3's A/C unit is fantastic. It chills me and the interior down Fast.!! I have the Viper Alarm with remote start, and when I leave work I start the 3 about 1 block from the parking lot.

By the time I get their ...it's nice and cool inside. Ain't modern Tech the best..

A/C on my H3 works fine here. But we have relatively low humidity even when the temps hit near 100.

Yesterday the Hum-Did-I-Ty must have been 95%.. It was hot and sticky. I went to pick up a Sub at the local sandwhich shop. I started the 3 from inside my house nad went out about 2 min later....

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh... NIce and cool:clapping:

In South Carolina 104 today! Air works fine if you are sitting in the front, the kids suffer in the back. Why no air in the back?? Even my Silverado had air in the back, for the $$ paid this should have been standard!

Out here in the Middle East mine works GREAT... temperature regularly hits 120-130 F with 90% humidity - when out wheeling I never switch the car off... needle goes to around 3/4 and stays there - awesome!!!

Must be fun with all the sand. I got so much sand in my vents and there really isn't that much here. But, whenever I'd turn my air on full blast, it would feel like I was being sandblasted, had to wear eye protection. It kept up for months, even at trade in I had to scoop a handful off the seats so they didn't see it!

My A/C has been working fine ,even on the hottest days.http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
Autostart works great on the very hot or very cold days.http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif
http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon3.gifTip: hit the recirculate button,it comes out faster and uses the already cooled inside air.(also use it offroading so dust/dirt doent get inside)

Not true! I had sand coming out my vents at all times. Might have gone through a lot mud/water with lots of sand in it and depositing it in my vent intakes for later use.

mine works great, it has been hotter than...well you know....here in the heartland and i've yet to have to turn it past level 2. I think maybe having the windows tinted at 15% might be helping just a little bit though

I live in very hot area (SoCal desert), and have black H3?definitely not the smartest color for this type of weather; the A/C performs great - no complaints here at all.

even with a black leather interior, my AC works great here.
it has been 95-105 the last couple months here and it cools down quick when i start it up.
i always use the recirc.
my deal is all the sand on the floor!!!

I was registering 103 yesterday... 87% Humidity.. I just roll down the windows, blow the lines and then roll'em back up, and I'm cool as a 6 pack in 3 minutes.

Mines a little strange. It seems like it might be low on refrigerant. It is cold, but every once in a while, it dips to kind of normal air temp, then back to cold.

Are you running it in the recirculate mode....??? Or the Vent mode.
If in the Vent mode on very hot days you'll make the A/C work much harder.

Mine too, seems to fill with sand every trip out to the desert, fully familiar with the sand blast effect. However as JFF stated even with the 130 degree heat and 90% humidity the AC works just fine:clapping: .

The H3'ers are the cool ones on all our trips, just watching those sweaty jeepers is enough reminder why I bought another H3:beerchug:

Speaking of which... I think I now have half the desert inside my car from yesterday  .... I must remember to keep the damned window up ... mind you, the H3's kicked ass BIG STYLE :clapping:

Can't say for certain. Usually it is on recirc, but I flip it to vent when I want to smell the outside air. i.e. close to water, driving thru woods.
