Comming in to work this morning on the Freeway I rolled up on another slate H3 and then we both passed another. It must be one of the most popular colors!

Odd, down here you see like no slate blue H3's, the only slate ones ive seen are mine and like one other on occasion i see another one. By the far the most popular color for that car here is Black by A LOT, followed by white. The best was one time i pulled up at a light, in the middle lane, on the right a slate blue H3 pulled up and then on the left, a slate blue (dont know if thats what its called on hte H1) H1 hardtop open back, pulled up next to me. that was pretty cool.

Then i saw a red Alpha comming the other direction. The silver front makes it stand out quick

All I ever see is black in So Cal. Unfortunately I have a black one, so I blend in with all the moms. Mine is usually the only one with mud on it though. :giggling:

I do see a radical white one on the way to work with 35s and blacked out rims. Looks awesome. Any elcova member want to claim that rig?

get a pic of that one!!!!! Im also the only one with dirt and mud on it down here, i go offroading with my friend who has the FJ Cruiser TRD edition raised, and him and I are the only two offroading vehicles I ever see in this city that are ever dirty. People give us the craizest looks espiaclly when i pull into school the day after going muddin'. Most of the H3's down here as i said are black and not only that but there also all chromed out. So mine doesnt blend with theirs.

Slate is a nice color. Probably the best so far. It's the new pewter.

Its funny, several weeks ago my brother and I were up at a local trail and my H3 is pretty blinged out, with all the accents around logos and handles, and other misc ghey stuff. These kids were following us in some old beat up cherokee hacked up 80s style one, and needless to say we were out wheeling them no prob. Keep in mind I have stock 31s, leather and all this chrome, and they were laughing at first until we pulled the front wheel off the ground and went up the side of a cliff. Then we pulled them up it after they couldnt make it. :giggling:

They couldnt believe that we had the balls to wheel such an expensive ride leather seats and all. Me and my brother both, as he drives the FJ. My only response is I have full coverage insurance and that covers off road use. I have a letter from my insurance lady that says they cover stupidity, including driving into a lake or river, roll overs, or any rock rash occuring off road or other damage I manage to cause. :dancingbanana:

Did that with Jeepers a few weeks back and they were impressed and actually started to talk with me at the end of the run. I have only seen one FJ off road and no other H3's in our area. Shocker when you rip it off road and show them whats she's got!

Yeah it was a blast and we ended up wheeling with them the rest of the day and having a good time. Thats what its all about. :perfect10s:

Seen the graphite and the solar color i like the looks of the graphite color a bit more, when i saw it though the weather was horrible so it made it look real dark and bad a$* I have yet to see it in "normal" lighting conditions.

slate is pretty nice, i like the way it looks at night with buliding/street lights reflecting off it.

First off and no disrespect, you better put a lawyer on retainer as you will wind up suing the insurance lady, there just NOT GONNA COVER YOU while OFF ROAD for running into a lake. If you will read the fine lettering about taking reasonable care when using your vehicle (unless of course your premium is about $10000 per year) A better letter would be one from the actual Insurance Company stating what you are saying...just my 2 cents..

Down here in Miami there is a good mix of colours. Williamson HUMMER, one of the largest volume dealers had about 25 yellow H-3's in their Holding Lot, not at the dealership. went by about 2 weeks ago and all but one was gone. I fugure other dealers asked for them as I believe someone earlier this year said Yellow was being DISCONTINUED. They still have several yellow ones on their regular lot. They are doing (not sure if their selling) a lot of HEAVY MODS on the display models in their new showroom bring the MSRP to over $50000 on some...

Yellow is ugly on the H3 looks like an H2 a-hole who bought in 2002. I sold a ton of them to stupid cash paying idots. Should seen the faces a year later when they saw how tanked they were.
