My dealer has told me its time to replace the HEPA filter at 12k at the cost of $125....never heard of the HEPA being in vehicles. anyone done this?

Yeah bummer...it's a required item at that mileage. But you can get it cheaper here:

They even have it for the hummer models that are not out yet (H6).
Not sure were it goes but I'm sure you will find a place for it.

Don't know for sure on H3 but H2s are under the dash on the passenger side.

There is no cabin filter on an H3. In fact, the only filters on the H3 are the air filter, oil filter, an trans filter.

This sound fishy to me. Everything I have read is as pdsq99f4 stated, that there is no cabin filter for the H3.
I'd like to hear your dealer explain that one.

I just spoke to my dealer and they confirmed that there is no such filter on the H3... :rant:

Its possible you have an uninformed service writer who is using A generic menu guide when recomending services, when the tech brings up the work order he say WTF just like you and will inform the service writer of his/her mistake. Dont be too quick to judge the Dealer, good help is hard to find sometimes.
