Hey all,
Just bought a 2005 with 25k miles, nice clean truck. I've got a passenger mirror that won't fold, and a windshield that leaked fairly badly in the car wash. I'm going to see if I can get new mirrors, but is this windshield thing common? Had one DVD screen not work but it seems to have fixed itself, Haven't found anything else wrong with the truck, so far really pleased.
Thanks in advance for the advice

No not common. Take it to the dealer if still under warranty.

The water leak could be the clearance lights on the top of the cab. Search the forum, there are many fixes posted.

Yep, the leaks up front are a common problem, I searched and found a few threads on it- you can do the same. It seems the marker lights and A pillars leaks are common as well:

Most had them either replaced or resealed by the dealer or sealed it themselves.
Congrats on your new H2.:)

The water leak is fairly common, especially if you check this forum. I have a post titled "Another Water Leak". It seems that most of the leaks originate around the cab lights and can be fixed fairly easy with some RTV. I had a bad leak and in addition to the cab lights, the roof seam above the front passenger door was lifted just enough to let water in. The dealer made a shoddy repair, looks like hell, but after driving 600 miles, mostly in the rain this weekend, the leak appears to be gone. Working the quality control issues directly with Hummer. It took a year to get mine fixed and am looking for a repurchase or minimum lifetime warranty on the repairs.
This should be covered under the 36,000 mile warranty, but water leaks will not be covered under the extended warranty unless it was uncovered as an issue during the first 36,000 miles.
Hope this all helps.
