Good People,

We're moving to Tampa! I need some input as to where I should live. Schools are my priority. I'm looking for a 5 bedroom house that's close enough to the Tampa airport. We've looked at homes in Waterchase and in Corey Lake Isle. I don't want to go over 1.2. In fact that may be too much for my poor ass but gotta keep the wife and 5 kids happy. Any suggestions?

My office will be near the Tampa airport and I will fly at least twice a month. Waterchase is ideal in location but I like the homes in Apollo Beach and Corey Lake Isle. Yet folks are telling me the commute is too long. My current commute is 45 minutes to an hour already.

Thanks for any advice.

That's quite a move!:)

Good luck- exciting news.:excited:

I obviously don't know much about Tampa, but here is a site that has schools and crime rates etc.

It's always best if someone knows first hand tho.

Number 1 thing to do is make sure the location is HIGH GROUND !!!

With that group you're bringing down, I'm not sure 5 bedrooms is enough. Where will we stay when we visit?;)

As I had told Ken a while back, I am a big fan of the Indian Rocks beach area, Also look into your h/o insurance and be sure to include wind and flood no matter how high your house will be.
If your kids skateboard there are a few good and safe places to go.

Being a real estate broker, I'd say consult a realtor in the area for the information on the schools etc.

Being a member broker of the ERA Franchise, I'd recommend going with an ERA broker to assist you with the home search. You can search for an agent on www.era.com (http://www.era.com) or I can see who i know in the area and make a referral.
