HID or PIAA lights in the bumper / fog lights?

Has anybody put HID lights in the bumper to replace the Daytime Running lights?

I've seen people put the PIAA lights that are yellow I belive in color but NON HID. Do these fight right in? They appear that they would be bigger than the fog light hole in the bumper.

Anybody just put performance bulbs in the DRLs and did the mod to have them come on all the time?

What do you guys suggest?

If you search the threads, you will discover that increasing the bulb wattage leads to overheating & melting which obscures the lenses. I think I recall that DRTY has hid's in his DRL holes.

No, I have HID headlights and PIAA 525's replacing the useless DRL's.

PIAA has a very nice set of HIDs that you could use in the DRL holes.
