Predator says that their product won't void your fact warranty but they recommend that you detune you vehicle before it goes in for service.

I have now had THREE Predators with the same problem. They have writing/communication errors or script errors and will not load the performance tune or restore my factory settings. I have spoke with their techs many times and everytime they have decided it was a bad unit. This third one has the exact same problems as the other two. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the diagnostic port on my H2??

I have not heard from any other owners with this problem though. Honestly, IMO most of the performance mods provide very little HP/torque/mileage or whatever else they promise. Just put your $ toward a supercharger if you want to see a real improvement. It is also the cheapest hp per dollar add on.

My understanding is the the PCM logs that a tuner was connected/used so once you plug one in the dealer techs will know. Then you have some explaining to do when the warranty issue comes up.

Can anyone verify this? If not, I will get the answer when I am less busy.
