I have factory Nav right now and was thinking of replacing it with an aftermarket one. My main reasons are I would like to add a remote on my steering wheel, and have my Sirius built right in along with XM(and I cant add the Sirius adaptor because of my production date), and wireless bluetooth Also it looks like many of the aftermarket ones are a lot nicer.

I was looking at the Pioneer AVIC-D3

You thinks this is wise move or should I just stick with the factory one.

Does anyone have any other experiences with this or suggestions on other models.

Thanks

If your near Huntington Beach I can put you in contact with my stereo shop here, hes #1 Knows it all.

There is alot of plus's with Stock, factory.

My experience with aftermarket stuff is that it is cool and then some, but when it goes wrong it really goes wrong and if the installer doesnt do an A plus install then your usually hacked.

I have had Alpine stuff only and have had good luck with them so far
I have had great success with XM, havent tried sirrius yet?

You may as well as go for an additional back up camera not tied into Reverse with your new system, have the camera mounted up high aboce the rear door, looking downward.
