THIS PRODUCT ENHANCEMENT INCLUDES VEHICLES IN DEALER INVENTORY AND CUSTOMER VEHICLES THAT RETURN FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE, AND WILL EXPIRE AT THE END OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLE'S NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD.

Purpose

This bulletin provides a service procedure to remove the seven-blade engine cooling fan and install an eight-blade fan on certain 2007 Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and HUMMER H3 vehicles. The seven-blade fan on these vehicles may cause excessive noise.

This service procedure should be completed as soon as possible on involved vehicles currently in dealer inventory and customer vehicles that return to the dealer for any type of service during the New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage period, at which time this bulletin will expire.

Couldn't hurt they run hot. Extra blade would add 12+% more cooling air:)

Must be specific to the Colorado and Canyon.

Its says 07 hummers also http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gifthey probably went to 7 to save weight :twak: I wonder how much that mistake cost them :giggling: stupid engineers
