Can I or how do I track my H3 order? It seems that I once saw someone talking of tracking their car being built. I am wondering if it is stuck on a line some ware and I won't get it for another month because of the strikes going on.:crying:

I just called my local dealer Cerritos Hummer for parts and he said its gonna be awhile because of the Strike

I know thats not your answer to your question, but Im sure everything is gonna be back logged or un answered due to the strike.

(Off Topic)

I heard that about 33% of the costs of a vehicle go to just paying the health insurance costs of the employees that work at GM?

me too, but with all the Fraud workman comp claims out there its just gonna keep costing us more and more, especially with the younger generations coming up, they learn mostly to beat the system instead of work ethic.

I know there are a lot of hard working union guys and gals fighting to keep jobs but some times you gotta look at the bigger picture and suck it up. There are over paid execs. on both sides of this fence and the sad part is that the people who make it go won't have a plant to return to if it drags too much. I can hear all of the marketing people at Toyota right now trying to take advantage of this..."you asked for it, you got it, you don't have to wait for it, Toyota"
I knew I should have placed my order earlier!:twak:
Back to topic, can I track my build? Maybe I won't bitch as much if it was on a truck someplace!:excited:

I wonder what happens to vehicles half way thru the assembly line during a walk out?

I'd hate to get one of those

did you try calling in somewhere? Id start at the dealer where you bought it and ask them if they have a # or a website for your order number? I have no solid answers, sorry.

I have tried to get my dealer to give me something but just "it should be getting built, maybe make it before the end of the month", answers, so I thought I would ask the question if it was a possiblity to do before I got real cranky. :twak:

As far as your hummer goes if its on the line when we went out on strike i wouldnt worry too much about it. Hopefully we'll be going back to work soon and it will be to you quickly. Your dealer can do nothing more for you that im aware of, its unfortunate that it happend like this but im optomistic we will be building hummers real soon. Just gotta be patient

if you ordered it, it will have an order number and your dealer should be able to tell you when it would have been scheduled to be built....ask him for the tpw (target production week)....

Nothing different than any end of shift, lunch, break or break down in the plant. The line stops and when break, lunch or the weekend is done, the line starts back up.

Don't worry. I think GM puts them in the freezer. They won't spoil or anything. Not even a little. :dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana::danc ingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:
