Is the bolt,
Stripped
Sheared off
can you be more specific
Can you see any of the bolt extending past the exhaust manifold?
Is there enough room to get a right angle air drill in there and drill into the bolt and use an easy out to remove the stud? If so, make sure the motor is hot before doing this, then spray some penetrating oil onto the bolt to allow it to come out easier with an Easy Out.
If there is alot of threads sticking out past the manifold you can use 2 nuts onto it an use the nuts like a head and back it out.
Hope any of this helps
good luck

head is sheared right off,
no bolt showing,
might be able to get in there with right angle drill not sure yet,
thanks for the idea of having the engine hot and the penetrating oil
I will try it when I get a chance
Cheers

I had the same problem on my 03. I had to take off the manifold to get the bolt out. I also found out it happens alot so I said screw it and put a set of Edelbrock headers on. direct bolt up. Also if you are going to take the manifold off get the motor warm the bolts come out easier. I was told from some peolpe to get it warm and some to do it cold. I dont know but when it was warm they came out alot easier.

I did them myself it took around 3 hours with just hand tools. I paid $350 for the headers.

Here are the part numbers I went with the Ceramic coated. I think the tri tech are cheaper.
