Has anyone heard any rumors about the SUT pricing? More expensive than the SUV?

No pricing out yet. As far as I know for what I've heard from insiders is that the SUT pricing will be right in line with the SUV pricing, and possible slightly less. Maybe $1000 less on MSRP.

I'll post as soon as I hear anything!

I hope you are right but I highly doubt it...

The SUT has several features standard that the SUV does not:

1) Midgate with electronically controlled window

2) Standard sunroof

3) Air Suspension (check my post about SUT interior specs)

Add the "uplevel" Ebony leather interior and I bet that the MSRP will be at least $2500-$4000 more than the Lux series SUV.

You can confirm the above by taking a look at the GM Media web site where the specs for the SUT were recently posted.

I read that production begins in April. Any guesses when they MSRP's will be released?

Yeah, but if you take an SUV with Lux, add Air Susp and a sunroof you'd be right in line with pricing again. The Uplevel black will bump it up though as would any other option.

Again, inside info says slightly less than the SUV when comparing apples to apples. We'll have to wait & see I guess.

Pricing should be out soon, I hope!!

I read something yesterday on the web that made me feel better... it was posted on the web so it MUST be true, right?

It was an interview with someone at GM who said that the SUT will be made at the same plant that makes the SUV. The plant is flexible and can adjust to market demand, and he said the plant will adjust to market demand.

Here's hoping the SUT will be in the same ballpark as the SUV http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

My dealer seems to have the inside track on some things and says the SUT will be serval thousand more. I hope not for your sake but it's what I heard.

It may be, only because it comes with more standard equipment.

Air
Sunroof

there's ~$3K right there.....

If the General shows any consistency, a loaded Avalanche is cheaper than a loaded Suburban and a loaded Escalade EXT is cheaper than a loaded Escalade SUV....
