Hey guys n galls. Not a big poster but I have to let out some steam.
I travel alot for Starbucks so I'm not sure how long it's been there or when it actually happened. A client of mine noticed it during a meetting when he was looking down from the office window looking at my rig. At first I thought he was just being a jerk because he's always had nothing good to say about Hummers. I looked expecting to see nothing but there it was! A huge dent like somebody dropped a basket ball or some circular object on top. Or maybe someone jumped on it. You'll never see it most of the time unless you're anywhere above a 2nd floor building but man do I wish I saw it happen so I could have caught the jackass. Some people don't deserve to breath free air. Sorry about the rant.

I highly doubt it. I've washed my H3 often enough to notice if it was there before. But the weird thing is that it's hard to see up close. But from a heightened distance, it's clearly there and it bugs the hell out of me.

Size of a basketball? Post a picture. It'll give us a comparison. Do a search for dents and you'll see many on H3's.

truth is buddy it probably isnt somebody or something. I know a BUNCH of people on here have it on theirs, luckily i dont have it. But it was a factory thing and a bunch came from the factory like that truly the luck of the draw. Get us a pic though so we can further examine.
This IS a known issue on H3s:iagree:
Post up some pics!

This is crazy. Do the H3's not go through some sort-of inspection of the entire vehicle before they release it to the public? How does Hummer get away with letting these defective issues out? Its not like it would be something that would surface later (no pun intended).:soapbox:

well is it a normal basketball, one of those game basketballs form a cranival, a little basketball, a medium sized basketball, or perhaps it could be a virtual basketball which then takes up no physical space only space on the computer. So it all depends which "basketball" were talking about to compare sizes hahahahahahahahhahahah

:giggling: Good one....
I was referring to a previous post where I formed a hypothesis about the "basketball" dents being caused by a disgruntled basketball player after buying an FJ Cruiser! The same post where a certain someone claimed that the dent was to be used as a "tactical basketball holder!"
Yeah, I've pretty much seen my share of basketballs!
