In the U.S.? Probably not for a while. However, they are looking at a slightly larger I5 w/ about 20 more horse power for the standard engine in 2007 H3 models.

Did someone say diesel?? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Nothing but good things could come from that. Sure it might be a bit noisy, but diesels have really come a long way. Gas mileage would probably be in the 20/25 range...towing capacity would probably come close to doubling....and the HP/LB-FT would increase significantly.
Right now I have an '04 Dodge Ram with the Cummins '600' HO Diesel. I put on the Banks Six Gun bundle for a little more performance. Right now I'm running an inline 6 cylinder (5.9L) with 400+ HP and just a hair under 800 lb-ft of torque. Factory warranty still intact and best off all....I'm averaging 17.5mpg with 35" tires....and it weighs almost twice as much as an H3!!
Once I hear about a turbo diesel H3 I'll be the first one on the list http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ...then me and my fiance could have "HIS" and "HERS" plates http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif.....how freakin' adorable

End of 2006 model year should be approx. end of June 2006, so '07s should be delivered around late July to August. Diesel, if the comes to the US, will probably be mid-year production, not start of production.

Will the 2007 start with the 20-25 more hp engine?

Maybe...probably...have to wait to really find out. Right now I would say yes, but things can change quickly.
However, as someone who has driven both, I would honestly say it is not worth the wait.

If you cant wait and you want the extra 20 Hp just buy one now and do a K&N intake kit and an exhaust. That should give you 20hp.
