I've got to ask, you know, your location and all that...I've seen Dada before, this looks like Dada to me...are you a fan of the Dadaists?

This is decidedly NOT Dada. (Sorry, one of my degrees is in Art.)

I disagree...at first I thought maybe "surrealism" and then it seemed to be more like the artwork of dada. You could say..I've had a class or two in the fine arts as well. I even had to create some dada. Since I admire it.
But since you have the degree and, while you're claiming "decidedly NOT Dada" how would Tower categorize it?
After all this specific example of Dada reminds me of a...well...lets just say that I see a striking resemblance between this:

I do believe that since "I claim them both to be works of Dada" created by me...they are!
I also believe that the master Marcel Duchamp would agree. You know, the father of Dada. After all what ever anyone thinks is Dada well, that is what Dada is and isn't. Maybe we could start a Dada thread, or maybe Surrealist might be more fun. Any thoughts?!

Duchamp would turn in his grave if he heard you call this Dada. What, exactly do you think qualifies it as such, other than the fact that you think it is?

If he turned over it would be to congratulate me for nurturing the essense of Dada that he, Hugo Ball, and Tristan Tzara, among many others created.
So back to my question for you...
....while you're claiming "decidedly NOT Dada" how would Tower categorize it?
In-fact, the Q&A session we are partaking in is considered by me, and I believe the Dadaist's, to be an illustration of Dada...you know, "something that keeps the expectations on boil." Senseless and/or meaningful?! For nothing and/or everything?!
I really like Dada. It is one of my favorites. Especially Duchamp's "Fountain"

Sorry I forgot to answer your question....
The fact that anyone claimed anything to be Dada qualifies it as such. Per the dadaists, that I've studied, I believe it is "art and anti-art" and therefore is and is not necessarily qualifiable. Anybody could therefore be a Dadaist. My question concerning Frenzy's image revolved around the other images I've studied by the Dadaists.
