First post and I need some help. I have an 05 H2, 28k miles, Magnussen S/C, 2800 Yank Torque, headers, exhaust, 4.10 rear and more. Its a pretty built up rig. In the last week or two my trans has been real slow shifting from first to second and second to third. I brought it in to the dealer, they couldnt pull any codes and said it might be my programmer. I reloaded the superchip program and it is still shifting slow. I also spoke with Yank and they said it was a trans issue.

Any thoughts? Similar problems?

Sure sounds like a tranny issue alright. You may be due for a tranny rebuild. Make sure and go with kevlar belts this time if the previous owner didn't. Check out the corvette servos also. I've read that some folks have even gone with a manual pressure pump vs an electronic controlled pump. This means that your programmer/computer will make no difference on the shift pressure from now on, but thats ok. Surely someone here knows much more about it than I do and maybe they can help. Just my 2 cents.

Good luck

Justin,
Thanks for the reply. My original thoughts were that it needed a rebuild however after the dealer scanned it and found no issues I thought I would check elsewhere.

Yeah come to think of it, the H2 can show a slip code in diagnostics, because mine was showing one after it's first 2k miles. Spent 2 days in the shop because of a faulty sensor. Along with the slip code, truck wouldn't shift out of first. All has been fine since then.
