Does anyone know if there is an online source to obtain the same shematic parts drawings that are available to the dealer service techs?

For those of us that enjoy working on our own vehicles, it would be useful to view what hardware, and parts are required to unfasten, and likewise secure to specific areas of the trucks. It also would give Part Numbers that can in turn be given to the parts desk at the dealerships to order.

I looked for the service documentation in the past, and it can be purchased here:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result.asp?Style=DWXKD4HUM39D81A&Mfg=GMC&Make=HUM&Model=H3&Year=&Category=1&Keyword=&Module=&selected%5Fmedia=&mscsid=J1QWMVS65SF58G4N86ECSGBPQDXF0TV3

it's not cheap but probably worth. I didn't get any but may order the printed service manual some day when I'll need it. Not sure if that's what you need, but I doubt that you'll be able to find better reference.

Also the http://www.gmparts-direct.com/ has schematics diagrams too but not very good quality.

I have both the printed manual AND the CD. I prefer the CD, since you can print out whatever you want, take it to the truck and not care if you get it filthy. It also makes it easier to post/send info for friends. JMHO. My paperback is pretty dog-eared.
