I was going to ask you about chroming the black one out. Back when I owned Harleys I used to send parts out for chroming. I gotta be honest here...I'm liking the way that turned out. What's the cost and is it the same deal (internal) for the wiring harness?

the cost of the stainless is high.if i were to sell one it would be 400,still cheaper then buying a real wheels light bar,but is pricy for me.i have enough material to make 1 more,i was going t save it so i can make a sema guard for the front outta stainless.if that is what you have to have.let me know
i dont think 275 shipped is high for a black one considering that a real wheels light bar is 500+shipping and theres sags in the front and looks like crap

Dude your $tuff looks good. Don't pay no attention to that knucklehead!
What diameter are the light bars?
Steel and stainless the same size?
Are we able to run the wiring inside the stainless steel bar also? In other words, did you drill the holes for the wiring?

FIRST OFF,ITS A BITCH TO WELD STAINLESS WITH A MIG,BUT THEY LOOK GOOD,THE STEEL ONES LOOK ALOT BETTER,ANYWAYS,I DIDNOT DRILL A HOLE FOR WIRING BUT YOU COULD DO THAT OR I COULD IF YOU LET ME KNOW.I DONT DRILL A HOL;E UNLESS I NEED TO

Dude no need to scream, I am knowledgeable about welding stainless...I also know it's a bitch...and just wondered about the hole since all of my tools are in Alaska. Your welds are far superior to mine...especially since I haven't played with welding since I retired from the Air Force back in 2000. The other question I had was concerning the diameter of the bar...what diameter is the stainless?

I really like the way that turned out. I figure drilling oversize holes and installing rubber gromets would be the way to go. Like I said, don't pay no attention to the knuckleheads.

Exactly which measurements would you need off an H2? I'll get my calipers out!

Welds? Those are welds? I thought those were pieces of bubble gum stuck all around there.
Sloppy mig work no doubt, grab a tig and make love to the metal. If your going to use 316 SS which is correct, try buy it at a local scrap yard. I bought many pieces that were once boat covers and turned them into new things.
Your on to something, but your price is out of this world. I can put these out for 175.00 bucks easy, even charge a 15 dollar polish fee for the peeps that want polished.
BTW or FYI, preheat 316 prior to mig, you can use dynabrade to get the brushed look back. Or if the number 7447 meansw anything to you.
Just a suggestion is all.
You better get busy, the winter months are slow around these parts. I might need the money and decide to produce these myself. You can produce them for much cheaper, you know it and so do I.

Anyone want to make one for my H2?
Sure, after the christmas orders, come pay me a visit. I'd be happy to further assist you.
I know a great B&B you folks can stay at, and I can work with you to make them yourself. Not free of course, but you can say that you made them yourself.

I can do it cheaper, I stated that fact clearly. I will, I have even invited another poster to do so with me.
Not with those welds friend, I have already advised you to tig the welds after you have shown the pictures. It is not a personal attack, and for that amount that you want to charge, you better leave it to the pros.
If you want to make it personal, grab your mig, I'll grab my tig. I will lay sweet rows of dimes while you make bubble gum.
I am a pro, don't bite off more than you can chew, well chewing is a everyday thing to you.
With short of insulting you, I am trying to explain to you that your approach is not correct.
Go to a local fab shop and learn the difference between mig and tig welding SS. After your done there, find a local scrap yard.

Put a 45 degree bend in it and mount the lights upside down.
