So today i jump in my h2 and drive around a bit, i get a little transmission slip here and there. Then all of a sudden when it goes to shift into 3rd its as if i have thrown it in neutral. So we get home check the fluid and its real low. So i decide ill put put to the lube shop in 2nd gear and get some new trans fluid and get a flush. We put the fluid and go to flush and it comes out dark black, bad news. So we get done with the flush and i go to see if it corrects it and it doesnt, also on my test drive the mechanic calls and says hey come back you leaking. So we turn around and something with the trans pump broke and it disconected. The mechanic decides its best if we just park it there and he will order a new pump monday since that was his fault, but as for the transmission thats gonna have to be redone. So im feeling pretty down about my hummer being out of commision for a little while and am out a ride. So i get my bud to drive me home to pick up my moms Mercedes Slk 280, and i follow him back to his house where i chilled until about 1 am when i decided i would go home. I go to take the curve by his house its about a 90 degree with no lines or reflectors but i drive on it everday, well all of a sudden i see a man walking in the curve so i swirve to miss him his some gravel and slide into the ditch taking out a sign while im at it. So i sit there in the car thinking wow this sucks so i roll down the window to climb out because the car was strateling the ditch perfectly not front to back but side to side. I throw the road sign off the trunk and call my buddy to come pull me out, cheaper and quicker than the tow truck. O yea the guy in the road was no where to be found. Anyhow i turn the car around and bring it to his house to look at the damage. The fron bumper cover is busted on the driver side and there are knicks and dings all along the side from the sign. If i would have been riding with the top back i prolly would have a smashed in face. Sorry for the long story but thats how my day went.:lame:
