10 days ago I was test driving a 911 carrera s.
Couldn't put the right numbers to the deal.
I have just traded in my 2003 Z06 corvette for a 2005 pewter H2 w/lux, dvd,sunroof.
I should have it in 3-4 days.
I was just tired of a fast car with nowhere to drive, oh, and it was the last black vehicle I will ever own.
Have been a Hummer admirer for years and felt it was time.
Any feedback on this decision as I am still only about 75% sure.

Don't care how fast they go, how low they are or how expensive they are, H2's are still "like nothing else". You'll not regret it and congrats on your purchase. Nice color.

You'll likey! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Just be prepared for the stares. The novelty hasn't worn off in Canada since they are still quite rare around these parts.

Where aboots are you from?

"You go into America, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a thong, you know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to wheel with them."

I live in Comox on Vancouver Island. (Hey, at least it ain't Toronto). My buddy works at the local GM (not a Hummer dealer) so we are bringing one from Dueck hopefully Monday or Tuesday.
Other vehicle 02 X5.

You may have one regret. "Why didn't I do this earlier?" I've had mine for a year and a half and I still cannot get the smile off my face.

Then you made a good choice buying a Hummer http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

Welcome to the island, Boardwalk! You are going to L-O-V-E your H2.

Expect lots of well intentioned (but bone-head) questions, kids asking you to adopt them, waving, screaming and thumbs-up. Everyone seems to be a fan.

Surprisingly little negative feedback - even in Tofino, the huggers were very civil. Nobody's ever touched my truck, except for a nasty post-it when I parked in a small-car-only spot.

Hey - hurry up and break in your engine so you can meet us halfway for a brew or java!

Once your H2 is delivered, the rest of your doubt will be completely erased, trust me. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
