Let me re-phrase the above, does the work I need done above have to be done by the dealer or can I take it to a specialty shop?

all i have is the rear light brush guards mine are black though.....do you have the SS ones??? those are the ones i have if so know that it DOES NOT require drilling for those. The dealer would not install it for me since it was not an accessory sold by the Hummer brand. i took mine in to a local body shop/mod shop and they did it for me 1 2 3, so no you dont need a dealer to do it, just someone who knows how to work with that stuff. If however you are able to buy those exact acessories through the dealer i would have them install it cause then itll most likely be backed by there 12000 mile 1 year warranty on parts installed/from the dealer after purchase. but make sure you ask em first!

I will do certain things like put in my new floor mats...lol but im not drilling holes into my hummer. I have no experience with that stuff... The locking gas cap needs drilling. That im not doing. the gaurds on back ill see what kind of install they require once they arrive. The display said installs in minutes. But the fuel door said the same thing lol....:twak:

haha that reminds of the soup that says "cooks in three minutes" but thats after you boil the ater which take sliek 123413241324 minutes. It mains installs in minutes after the hole drilling!
