DURHAM, N.C. — There is no DNA match between members of Duke University's men's lacrosse team and an exotic dancer who told police she was raped at a team party, attorneys for the team said Monday.

"No DNA material from any young man was present on the body of this complaining woman," said Raleigh attorney Wade Smith.

Citing DNA test results delivered by the state crime lab to police and prosecutors a few hours earlier, the attorneys said the test results prove their clients did not sexually assault and beat a stripper hired to perform at a March 13 team party. I think her pimp beat her before this gig and she is looking for a pay day. The Lacrosse players hired the 2 girls for a 2 hour cruise-er-show. They danced for ten minutes. The accuser was totally out of it and locked herself in the bathroom. The girl with her gave a statement to police that she did not know anything about a rape. NO DNA EVIDENCE ANYWHERE ON or IN the girls body. Hey folks, no rape occurred. Please pray for our friends son who is on the Duke Lacrosse team. Had to give DNA and was not at the party.

I don't know. What parent's first response to the police after their daughter is murdered is to lawyer up and not speak to the police? Didn't they want to help the cops find the murderer(s)? Or did they want the cops not to do so?
