Toyo M/T's for sure

I was going to get some, but didn't want a loud road noise, so I went for the Toyo A/T

Always thought BFG M/Ts were the best (The Toyos wore down too fast), but after a few months on the 37" Procomps Xtreme M/Ts, I've changed my mind. Agressive and center siped lugs. Good looking tire. Manly. Not the ghey fancy shmancy tire designs on some.

And only 2-3 ounces to balance compared to BFG's 10-14 ounces per tire on the BFGs.

TOYO M/T'S HANDS DOWN!! I put toyo on my h3 and love it!! i think they are quieter then the factory bridestones. me freind has toyo m/t's on his h2 and he has 40,000 miles on them, the tires still has 1/4 of the tread left on them. All around great tire!! Will not put anything else on my HUMMER!!

I put on the following tire in the past.
BFG AT 265/75-16 -> ISUZU BIG HORN
BFG MT 285/75-16 -> NISSAN SAFARI

I attach TOYO MT 315/75-16 to H3 stepping on now.
There are few road noises and is comfortable.

I think it will come down to which tire you like the looks of the most. They both preform well and and get about the same mileage(50k+) from what I have read. I have BFG MTs and love them. I am not into an agressive lug patern on side wall. Thats what I like about the BFGs. They look clean but have an agressive tread. I have 22,500 on them now and have little wear. Should easily get 65k out of them. The key is to remeber to rotate your tires every 4k to 6K miles. It will make all the difference in the world.

Depends on what you want from them. The BFG's and Toyo's are supposedly about equal in the mud with the BFG's being a little more durable overall [like in the rocks]. Toyo's are a little less noisy and a little more streetable but will still wear down quickly on the street. If I was you I'd check toyo mt vs bfg mt (http://www.forumdig.com/search.aspx?q=TOYO+MT+vs+BFG+MT) and go through people's experiences yourself and see what you come up with.

I think they're both among the best. The KM2's and the Toyo's are about the same money.

My Toyo's have taken a beating in the rocks. I have lots of torn-up lugs (especially from the back axle), they do still provide great traction. The Toyo's have remained quiet though, and the BF Goodrich Mud's I've had in the past were loud as hell.

I've been thinking of buying some new wheels and tires, strictly for wheelin'. I would like to put some Staun internal beadlocks on the wheels and put them on only for wheelin' trips.

For that application, I want BF Goodrich Krawlers. I like buying American when possible and the BF Goodrich are, the Toyo's are Japanese....brought over on a boat.

I thought you already put the Toyo's on the new 2 Tim?

Damn dude......did Toyo pay you to put that decal back there? That's gotta block almost all of the rear visibility.

If not......and it's just a pride thing.....why didn't you at least buy 5 of them? ;)

JFWY. :D

I have always had BFG tires and I loved them. I still have my factory 33' Bridgestones, but if I were going for a mud tire/ trail tire I would go for the BFGs. Just my opinion
