Global warming (if one believes in its effects) actually would/can cause cold weather in certain parts of the world, as well.

Warmer weather causes more precipitation; more snow. However, due to greater weather extremes and air movement as a result of temperature changes in some places, the location(s) of that precipitation is less predictable and/or consistent. Therefore we would likely see extended periods of drought in some areas and more snowfall/cold weather concentrate in other areas-sometimes in unexpected locations where the weather has been more moderate in the past.

The second thing that I heard is that as the ice cap melts, the changes in sea temperature will affect and slow ocean currents, which will eventually bring lower air temperatures across much of Europe. As the current slows (and stops?) the temperatures there actually cool and winters could become quite severe where they have been relatively mild in the past.

I got this off of the internet but it's an awesome answer. Plus, didn't anyone see The Day After Tomorrow? LOL It turned into an ice age.

However, I just saw what a smartass I looked like and yeah, I'd love to have some GW right now as well. It's freezing here too. :(

Hahahaha! LMAO.

There is nothing funnier than reading this liberal crap that actually makes an attempt to explain cold weather on global warming.

People actually believe this crap! Too funny.

with all the poisons in it...

You're right.

You know we used all of those poisons first and they worked great!

Unfortunately, big brother put the kibash to them -- to the point that the manufacturers weren't allowed to dispose of them.

So they were forced to put the stuff on the global market in order to get rid of it.

So yes when we buy the food back from some countries we essentially get trace amounts of the poisons again....

But WTF, you and I were in the military, uncle gave both of us far worse than that! Just don't feed this stuff to kids, or pregnant women, or anybody under say, seventy!

I see that anything I say is cause for a joke just because of certain political beliefs or certain beliefs...period. Fine, have fun with it. I could care less. PS. I said IF someone believed in global warming they'd also know that said Global Warming (whether true or not) would theoretically cause colder weather in certain areas. So IF that person believes one, they should realize the other. I myself don't know whether it's true or not given the facts. I was just making a statement on what SOME believe.

I'm not commenting on whether you believe it or not. It's simply hilarious reading the udder idiocy of the idea that global warming is causing cold weather. It's just classic how people will mold the facts to fit the presupposition.

You need to lighten up!

I can take a joke or ribbing as well as the next person. (ribbing sounds stupid but that's all I could think of) However, why is it always a liberal thing? I make innapropriate jokes, I laugh at people and make fun of them, I'm immature at times and never act my age. I don't think I need to lighten up at all but I'll take that under consideration. :)
:beerchug:
(on a side note, I took one of those tests on how liberal I am and believe it or not, on personal and fiscal responsibility, I was 50/50. Pretty neat seeing what I really think).

Ummm, not really. Or you wouldn't be so offended when you're called a liberal.

Typical liberal.

"Hummers create more global warming than all the volcanoes of the earth."

Was quoted by some old skank at my local gas station. I told her she should just kill herself to save air.
