Does anyone know what I need to do to get my Pioneer AVIC D3 to work. Just installed it in my 2003 H2 with a standard GM wiring harness and the display shows everything working fine on the screen, but I get no sound at all. I have the Bose system in the car.

On the 03 models the head unit communicates via class 2 data line to the amp. You will need to replace the amp. Amp is located under the rear of the center console.

or you can use the amp in the d3 and just tap into the factory speakers at the amp location in the center console.

You should be able to run an aftermarket H/U with the factory bose amp and speakers with a interface from PAC, check out www.logjamelectronics.com and I believe what you need is about $100
Here is the part # I believe you need:
P.I.E. GM24-0S2
GM Class II Head Unit Converter
2003-2006 H2
I have thier interface for adding an auxillary amp to the factory Bose H/U and speakers.
