Guitar Hero rocks.

I am not a big video game fan. I know this game has gotten same rave reviews and we even have freinds throwing Guitar Hero parties. I was always of the "meh" attitude with it and all video games. However, our daughter got it for her birthday this weekend and it pretty fun, I gotta admit.

im not gonna lie i used to feel the same way. All my friends would play it and i was just like thats the gayest game ever. Well my sister got it and its pretty fun i still suck at it though i can barely play it on medium and all my friends are playing it on expert without mistakes! ohh well thats alright they still cant really play an instrument and i play bass!

I had the same reaction when the kiddo wanted a Wii. What a debacle getting one. Was hoping she'd love it. We all do its a blast! I've seen people playing that guitar hero thing in the stores, but never played it. I play guitar so wonder if i could kick some guitar hero butt?

Guitar Hero is nothing at all like playing real guitar... But good luck! :giggling:

I love Guitar Hero. I only wish that xBox 360 had the 80's one and Guitar Hero I. I only have GH II and III but do pretty well on medium and a few on expert. The hardest song ever for me was Freebird. Rich will rarely play it, telling me he's not a button pusher. He likes more action games. Hmpf.

We're all addicted now.

The wife and I even went back upstairs after the kids went to bed to play a little. I smoked her every time except when I would play a harder level than she would.
