I am going to put a CB antenna on the rear of my truck.how have people run the coax from the back to the front.Do you need to remove a lot of body panels or kick plates.

its not too bad. I ran mine from the rear bumper, through the taillight housing and into the rear of the truck. then I tucked it under the side trim on the inside and up to the drivers center console via under the sill plates.

You can also run it under the roof rail covers. Take a pillar cover off at front and rear a-pillar cover off and you can pull wire thru with electrical "fish" tape.

From rear bumper.. Ran it under the truck alongside the brakelines up under the hood and through the firewall with the rest of the wiring harness..

If it gets drug out from under the truck I'm pretty sure the brake lines will get drug out too and I'll have much worse things to worry about than the coax..

Pull back the weatherstripping and you'll see two phillips head screws. Then there's two plastic snaps that hold it in from the front. The snaps release pretty easily so you shouldn't have to worry about breaking them.

I think I may go with the under the truck along the frame and through the fire wall plan

There's an easier way if you're going to run it along the frame. Remove the sill plate and there is a hole where you can fish the cable into the frame rail.
