On two seperate occasions this weakend HATERS had to add their .02!
The first time was as I walked in to this party. I overhear some guy at a table near the front say, "Hey, look at that HUMMER!" Then some other guy at the table says, "Is that a real Hummer?" Without a moment of pause some jackass snickers and blurts out, "Ha ha NOOOOOO Way." :twak:  :(
Then, last night after church on the way to my girlfriends house I pass two fat women smoking on their porch. On lady screams at me, "Nice Car...... But its stupid though....." I just thought to myself, keep smoking A$$HO&E! :twak:  :twak:

I hate to say it but, New Orleans has a ton of Hummer haters! I went out there last week for Mardi Gras and decided to drive my H1. Wow! About half of the people I drove by gave me dirty looks and crap. Even my friends that I went down to see gave me a hard time about having such a big car. All I told them was "I didn't hear you bitching about size while your home was being evacuated by Humvees" :twak: . Oh well. Like one of the other posts said "ENVY".

I actually had a Prius owner tell me yesterday that he was impressed by the ride of the H2.:excited: He couldn't believe how smooth it was and how substantial it felt. I told him I was glad I could broaden his left coast horizons!

You didn't give a Prius owner a ride...did you?

Of course...he had flown out here and therefore didn't have his car. On the way out from dinner, with him not knowing what I drove, I made the comment, "You don't drive a Prius, do you?" He chuckled, looked at me, asked how I knew, and then asked why. When I clicked the unlock button and all the lights on my truck turned on, he began to laugh.

OMG that is so funny! I'm running around in a 3 getting flipped off by most Prius drivers in Seattle...and you had the pleasure of tooling around with one riding shotgun in a 2! That picture would have been golden here!

He's not going to go back to So-Cal and trade the Prius, but he also isn't going to go back out there and be able to trash the H2 or the people that drive them!;)

I too used to be a kind of hater. Well, not really a hater but I had no use for one until I got a black on black wakeboard boat. And of course I had to get something to pull it. I looked at everything. But the selling factor was my 6 year old son. Trucks are cool to him. But the black H2 we looked at put the icing on the cake. With regards to haters, I kind of had the opposite experience last week. We had an office party for my office manager and my partner's wife (who drives an Escalade) wanted to check out my H2. First off, she's smoking hot. She got all giddy and everything and wanted to drive it around the parking lot. She wanted me to keep her Escalade for the day and she keep the H2. It made me feel pretty good and my partner looking at me like "you little sh!@". I left the office with a smile of my face for sure. Sat up a little higher. Ya know. My ego got stroked. Sorry for the long post. That's a liberal arts education for ya......

There's a lot of haters in the world. Just stay true to yourself, then you'll be happy!
Screw smokers and jokers. (No pun intended...) :giggling:

Is a hummer hater like a non meat eater?

I don't worry about them either.
It's totally true that the majority of them are envious and the few that do actually care about the environment already know that a Hummer eats no more gas than any pre 80's American car, many of which sre still on the roads and they spew far more pollutants into the ozone then we do, so why single out the brand that we love.
Besides, with a 6 inch lift and 40 inch tires once I pull up on their left side they disappear :)
