I went to go grab my spare tire lock key in my glove compartment and it was gone. I dunno maybe the guys jacked it when I had my car appraised. Anyways I was wondering how/how much $$/where I could get a hold of another one. I sold my h3 and dont' want to leave the guy stuck on the road without a key if he gets a flat. Are they all the same for the H3's. Thanx for your help.

Are you sure it was in your glove box ?
Theres a little pocket on the jack in the hatch where it belongs.
I think it came with a card with key info(in a ziplock clear/black pouch.)
Good luck,Im sure the dealer can get one if you cany find it. :beerchug:

The keys in the glove box are for the cross bars.

Back door open plastic hatch and look right above the nicely packaged jack, little pocket the size of a lug nut with velcro on it. I moved mine from glove box to were it belongs, maybe yours is there.
GOOD LUCK

Well I always remembered seeing it in the glove compartment. I dont' think i've ever even opened the jack compartment. Maybe when I recently had the jack recall they moved into that area? I dunno. Hmm.. Maybe I will give the new owner a call to make sure. Just hope it's not expensive if It is missing.

The well mine's a 2006 so there was a jack recall that the dealer informed me about when i went in for an oil change. He said the new jack is stronger and will last longer under repeated usage. The old one is strong enough, but I guess some long term testing showed a slight flaw over time, so they replaced it. Probably ok for later vehicles,

We discontinued this from the factory late last year. I opened one up and saw the card and they wanted 20 bucks apiece for a replacement part. I would think you could go to an autoparts place and get something alot cheaper.
