Hey guys,

Well its about that time, I'm going to invest in new shoes for my 3. Anyone know the largest tire that will fit on the Base H3 suspension? Im leaning towards the BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's good Highway/Offroad combo, and not TOO expensive, the ones im thinking about are LT285/75 R16's, that will give me a 32in OD up from the stock 29in OD, I dont want to have to buy tires again, and I dont plan a lift, so I'm wondering what my best option is? Any suggestions?

You can fit 40's easy. Link (http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/search.php).

ATX,

You can fit the 35s on your stock wheels and suspension. Check out the H3 photo thread titled "post photos of 35s on your stock rims". I went with the 285/75/R16 on mine. You get the larger tire with the better looks and pretty much keep the stock tire performance.

35 is about as big as you should go on base. Over that you will be rubbing and having issues...:beerchug:

I put some LT295/75 R16's at someone's recommendation and the fit the stok rim just fine. Look great too.

I'm runnning 35's (315/75/R16) on stock rims and having no problems. If I do a full hard right turn it Just slightly rubs but Just so I don't think you can go any larger.

from the stock 29in

just to point out the stocks are 32 inch not 29 and the 285's that you are talking about are 33" not 32" and the biggest you can go on the H3 without a lift is 35 any bigger than that youll need a lift.
