This has to be the first time someone on here has complained
about getting "FLASHED"

I have noticed the same problem since I converted to Xenon bulbs
maybe someone can help us out.

If I get to it first tonight I'll let you the size and direction to
adjust.

What bulbs did you use? Any rewiring required to make the switch to Xenon?

I'AM running an HID set i got on ebay and i believe porchette posted a link to the ebay store, they were like around a hundred i believe but they look much better than the regular bulbs you can buy, and they were "plug and play"

No with Xenon bulbs they are just plug in 9007 bulbs. I have Euro Dezigns Xeon Krypton. And you pick a color / temp of the bulb, I went with the 8500K.
I think they are much better looking than stock.

And yes Matt I did not forget to let you know what size the torx was when ever I get to around to adjusting mine. :twak:
Does the HID ones you have include ballasts?

I never get flashed with mine. It is a lot of fun though to pull up behind a Miata or Corvette in an underpass and see them blinded when they come on automatically!

If you want the link, let me know or look up an old thread.

Thanks. Are these the ones you purchased?

The install looks a little tricky? I thought they were just bulb replacements. It looks like a entire wiring kit, relay to battery to ballast to bulb???

And its $500?? wow.

I used this one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-H13-9003-9004-9007-Bi-Xenon-HID-Conversion-Kit-Hi-Lo_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742Q2em153Q2el1262Q QcategoryZ36476QQihZ012QQitemZ220204984723QQtcZpho to it?s the same kit. The wiring was real easy it would have only taken 10 minutes but I had to make ground straps because of the fiberglass hood. I ran the grounds back to the horns and took a few minutes to figure out they were not a good ground due to heavy paint where the horns mount. These lights are absolutely awsome!!! Although:cool: I really dont like getting flashed.

stupid question, will the "high" beams still work when flashed?

I heard xenon lamps cant do high beams because of the gas in the bulb?

Does that make sense?

I guess you figured it out but
Bi Xenon = Hi & Low Beam
Xenon = Low beam only
And even with the Bi's They are not brighter they just move the position of the bulb to shine higher.

There are cheaper ones.

I got BI Xenon with 2 different wattage in the filiment
so you can flash to pass.
