So I'm at the grocery store with the wife and kids tonight...She's 2 rows over and I'm in the ice cream aisle. The wife teaches high school and one of her students is walking by with 2 chubby girls (all are about 16 years old). I hear her student say (he works at the store), "that was my math teacher, she drives a really nice Hummer"...this apparently pissed off the 2 chubby girls as they started shouting "gas guzzler", and one kept saying "I don't approve of the Hummer!". I found it kind of funny and went and told the wife. So as we're going down another aisle we meet the 3 head on...and then it sets in that I heard what they said so the 2 girls tried not to make eye contact. When they were right in front of us I asked them if they cared to share their opinion again so my wife could hear. The girls wouldn't even look up and hauled ass to the end of the aisle. My wife's student started laughing and asked the girls "Why are you running, you were shouting it out loud a few minutes ago" Is this kind of mindless crap what the future of this country is all about?

I was in the car line picking my son up after school and a student walked up to window and yelled in at me, "Ooooooo, Hummer's are ugly and the biggest piece of c_ _ p around." I smiled at him as a school 'official' had overheard and yelled back at the kid, "What did you say??" The boy repeated it stupidly. The boy got a verbal lashing and the school official came up to me to apologize. I shrugged my shoulders and said he's a kid. The boy looked to be in 7th grade. These kids only repeat what they hear at home .. they're too young to know much more about vehicles other than the looks. :notallthere:

I missed pissing off people so much with my 03 H2 that we bought an 05. I had some idiot at the gas station babbling about the uselessness of such a vehicle. I cracked a slight smile and said, "I hate them to, but it's just too much fun pissing people off."

Most of mine have been positive. I still love it when some asshat guy driving a minivan tries to give me crap at a gas station.

only gotten like 1 negative, a lot of positive though. probably due to the abudance of hummers dominating the green cars on the road so people wont throw a negative comment,
