Well it only took a year, but I finally took my H3 offroad. Our local Hummer dealer (Royal Hummer) of Tucson had an event and I decided to sign up. Man it was a blast! Am very proud of what my Hummer can do and was pretty surprised a few times. One of the coolest climbs we had was a 32% grade and that was pretty awesome for the wife and me. Was pretty cool a few times when all we could see was the top of my brush guard and clear blue sky. Took some pics and will post them as soon as I get them uploaded. Was a pretty big turnout, total of 39 Hummers, H1's (couple of Alphas too) H2's and a lot of H3's including one H3 Alpha.
Was a great time, the wife and I really want to do this more, but shes not sure she wants to take hers out, probably just mine. :) Shes agrees hers is a Street Queen. LOL.
Being a stock Hummer owner I was very impressed with its capability and watching them flex on some of the obstacles was very cool. Got to see the approach and departure angles in some of the washes and that was very cool too.
As you can see I am still very excited by the event and hope to do more offroading now that I see what they can do.
Have to thank you all on the forum for the valuable info you all have posted on different threads, they came in handy.
