Does anyone know if the back black license plate holder fits the older H2's. I love that they are black and say HUMMER on them.:confused: Or, it may be a 2006 and up that has this??? And, it gets rid of my chrome in the back.

nevermind, it does fit. But, they don't have lights for the license plate on the new ones.

But, I think I may try something here. Stay tune.

How is it illuminated, then? A separate light?

well, now a days the rear tire carrier covers that and the plate is mounted on that. The other.. is the rear tire carrier that has the plate carrier to the left side bottom.

Its not a option anymore to mount the plate onto that license plate pocket. Unless you make your own holes... which I'm going to do. Then mouting your own lights to illuminate the plate.... which I'm going to McGyver somehow. :grouphug:
