Does anybody know where I can get or have a copy of the Gibson exhaust system. I bought second hand and didn't get the instructions for installation.

Which one did you get? I'm pretty sure I trashed mine, but maybe I can offer some help.

It's the Gibson Split Rear Exhaust System. I think I can figure it out, I was just wondering if anyone and the instructions that come with it.

Thanks

Have you tried contacting Gibson?

The Extreme Duals? That's the same one I got. It was pretty straight forward. Although my clamp that holds the header pipe to the muffler keeps coming loose. I need to drop something on the threads to glue the nut down. I forget the name of the stuff I'm thinking of... comes in blue that seals it super tight and red that seals it just real tight... damn getting old, I've been using this stuff for over 20 years and can't remember the name.

I sent an email to Gibson Sales but have not heard back from them.

OK, to get me started, How do you get the exhaust mounts to
come out of the rubber mounts underneath. I am guessing that you use screw drivers to pry them off. Any help would be appreciated. The rest of the installation looks pretty simple.

YES! God getting old sucks.

I squirted some WD-40 (I remembered that name) into the rubber mounts to make them slippery, then used a prybar to pry the mounts out of them. Takes a little wiggling to get the right angle but it's not difficult.
