2008 H3 color by the tow hooks...

Hi,
The 2008 H3 has like lightgreymetallic painted "cover" under the towhooks/licenceplate... Is there any colorcode for that color??

umm thats the new skid plate, if you noticed thers no H3 embossed on it anymore....all 2008 H3's have it like that now it comes in that color theres no choice for it it just comes like that, its an aluminum color in person, if you have the old style its an entirly different piece look at the shape now it all appears to be one piece where as the old one was clearly two seperate pieces.

Skidplate and bumper design on the 2008 models are completely different from 06-07 and are not interchangeable.

As far as the color-code, good question. The very front part IS painted, but that code isn't listed anywhere in the vehicle. It may be a different coloration process than the truck body since it sees a lot more rocks and would be prone to chipping, and I haven't seen any chipping on 08 models.

Looks like you can swap bumper bar and skidplate to the 2008design... Is it same partnumber on frontbumper modelyear 2006 and 2008? In that case that must be same skid n bar??? Talked to SEWELL yesterday but only got price....

Can anyone please check it out? please?

Looks like you can swap bumper bar and skidplate to the 2008design... Is it same partnumber on frontbumper modelyear 2006 and 2008? In that case that must be same skid n bar??? Talked to SEWELL yesterday but only got price...
