Hello, I'm extremely new here so easy with the flames.. I was told about this site from a friend at the Lamborghini Forum, LamboPower.com
I've used the search function and have gathered a great deal of info on this excellent site. Thank you for a great site.
I see that the topic of tire sizes has been spoken about quite a bit on this site so please bare with me.
I've wanted to put a 37/13.5/22 set-up on my H2, but have read many issues related to rubbing. So I've been speaking with a few shops and they've recommended a 325/55/22 set-up, which is about 36" o/d. With not many choices out there for an A/T or M/T tire, I've come across the Pirelli Scopian ATR, which I'm told is an All-Terrain tire.

So my question is, for anyone that can share advice, has anyone on this board used/using these Pirelli's? How have they fared in the snow? Ride quality? Any issues at all? I should also mention that I live in Canada, where it's below freezing and it snows half of the year, and these tires and wheels will be on year round.
Any other info or advice from others will be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,

Kal

Why choose the Pirelli tire? These are usually a speed rated tire, if you own an H2 then speed really isn't your primary concern. I don't know of anyone running with that tire here in Canada...if your concerned about rubbing being a big issue then you need to check your vehicles settings, I have very slight rubbing on my passenger front side, but absolutely nothing to really be worried about. I run the DICK CEPEKS M/S tires with triple lug pattern and siped tread for winter traction, they have a "D" load rating and are really good in both on or off road conditions. They are a mud tire that kicks of the mud & snow from the treads while driving, thus providing better traction overall. Some guy's use Pro Comps, while others prefer Toyo's MT, but for here in Canada I prefer the Cepeks.

Cheers.

Thank you for your feedback and I agree with you 110%. After gaining more info, I have actually changed my choice. I am now going with a 35x13.5x20 Micky Thompsons. Although I was able to get a great deal on BFG M/T KM2's in a 325/60/20, I just can't find reviews about them so I chose not buy them.

What size are your Cepeks?

Kal

Search around the site here or on the net for reviews.
Tire Rack also puts up reviews of their tires on their site too.
Welcome to the list btw and have a great time. ~Richard
