Sorry guy, i think it looks weak, over-extended and maybe to much flex...

you tell us...

The 'weld' joints, or lack thereof make me wonder how the in the world those tubes are connected.

Also, how is it connecting to the recovery loops/frame? That's not a strong connection, and I think I would be able to bend it simply by putting my bodyweight on it.

From a design point of view, it doesn't follow the lines of the H3 at all.

Thats 1.75" x 1" solid stock connecting to the tow hook, and theres a backer bracket that houses a SS pull pin to drop the guard that mounts behind the tow hook. That is a rough prototype so some of the gaps have been photoshoped. It is diffenitly the strongest mounted guard I have come in contact with(not flimsy like most others)

It looks ugly and adds nothing to the front end of that H3.

the only thing it adds to the H3 is front protection, and a place to mount lights. As far as the guard going with the lines of the truck, you can't tell from the side.As the name hints I'm not a fan of the H3(if iI wanted a plastic truck I would go for a RC car), but did a friend a favor to come up with something thats not junk made in china, I was looking for some imput as the project is not finalized, I do appreciate your opinions thats why I was asking for them

I've met a few people who talk about plastic on the H3/H2, I then show them production line photo's of the H3 and they shut up pretty quickly.

I truly hate it when people with absolutely no understanding of how a vehicle is built talk sh*t.

So, take our opinions that you value so much, and stop building add-ons for a vehicle you supposedly hate.

Look at you making friends.

Brushguard - Looks like a bad SMA ripoff. Way oversized. Gaps between bars are too big for it to effective. If you're going through the trouble of a fold down, over the hood mount, why not make it go more than 1-2" up the hood?

Your ****ty attitude - The only thing i got from your name is you may have an unhealthy fixation to another Hummer model. Insulting the H3 and its owners will not make your brushguard look any better. And do you have any links to the brushguards that are made in China?

Crash ?

Ok.. That.. umm.. That...

Let's look beyond the thing on the front.. Look at the hood.. That may be the first functional hood vent on an H3.. And dig the fender flares..

.. And dig the fender flares..

They're made out of rubber baseboard. :notallthere: :OWNED:

But all that homemade goodness and no trowel handles on the hood? :lame:
