Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great information posted here throughout my time owning an H3. Unfortunately, it was time to make a change to something with a bit better gas mileage. I chose the Chevy HHR LT2 (cardinal red metallic). I haven't owned a non 4 wheel drive vehicle for a very long time and I'm sure it will take some getting used to during the winter months here in Ohio. Many factors contributed to my decision to make the change. So far, it has been a real pleasure to drive and am averaging 26 MPG.
I will still be eying the HX and hopefully, I can grab one if and when they come out.

I wish they'd offer the HHR in 4WD with a little more ground clearance. It would be a nice second vehicle to the H3.
