I'm in hiding, so I'll start this thread (sorry to steal your thunder, RYD. ;))
Inlaws are leaving as we speak. Trevor - being the most awesome baby in the world - happened to get frantic hungry/screaming about 10 mins before they were ready to go, so I had NO choice but to go nurse him. Heh heh heh....I can still hear them downstairs tho. I'm planning on hiding out here until they leave. I love my FIL, but MIL is a demon from Hell. She has managed to criticize everything in the house, whatever I've cooked, and my parenting and they weren't even here 48 hours. This will be the first day in a while I haven't downed half a bottle of Tylenol. Whenever they leave, she makes a habit of telling me - again - what is wrong with me and how I'm not part of the "family." Whatever, bitch.
Planning on finishing up laundry today and then baking the cake for the toddler's 3 yr birthday tomorrow. It's going to be a Wow Wow Wubbzy cake, if it goes according to plan. He'll help decorate. So it will START as a Wow Wow Wubbzy cake. We also got him a buttload of gifts and he's finally at the age where he's getting excited about them, so it should be fun.
Hopefully my carrots will be good tonight, we've been having awesome luck with the garden lately, altho tho lettuce is starting to turn a little bitter. We've been able to have fresh tomatoes at least, all the rest were pulled from stores around here because of the Salmonella outbreak.
Gotta finish getting the house ready too, HGTV is coming on Wednesday to film. This week is going to be busy as heck, but it looks to be fun.

Cleaning the house, before my 3 oldest kids fly in.
If they see the way I've been keeping the place I'm sure they'll have some kind of mind-altering "moment of clarity" that I'll never be able to live down. You know, from making them clean their rooms all those years.
It's going to be a week of fun filled festivities, like shopping at Nordstroms & Macys and eating at all the restaurants they don't have back in Alaska. Time to celebrate!
I really feel blessed that they're making the trip for next Sunday though!

Well, today isn't over but so far we had some lunch and watched 2 more episodes of Criminal Minds Season 2. I've seen them all but since it's my favorite show, I watch them over again. We're fixing to go in the pool right now, it's a sunny 94 outside. Later we're going to Backporch Seafood to get our free appetizers since they messed up our meals last week. I have been dieting and since 4 days ago I've lost 4 lbs. Not bad I guess and taking it slow works better but lord if I'm not an instant gratification kind of girl. LOL I want to see double digits! I've been counting calories and sticking with it and can even have my Starbucks coffee, I just include it with my calories and get a grande instead of venti. We also have to go to Home Depot later. Watched 21 last night again and will probably watch a movie tonight since we only have a couple of shows taping: The Next Food Network Star and the new USA show, In Plain Sight which is about a girl who helps with the witness protection program. Cool show that I found out by doing a pay per post blog about it.

Stace, don't let the MIL get you down.
Think of it this way...she's older than you, meaning that she'll most likely die before you do. You can always celebrate silently! LOL!
:D :shhh: :giggling:
That is unless she doesn't actually die when she's supposed to and ends up moving in with you and yours so her diapers can get changed on a regular basis.
  :OWNED:
Things could always be worse - you should be glad she goes away when she goes home!

HELLO !
Stacy,
I was told (ordered) that a MAN could no longer start the SUNDAY THREAD...so no thunder to steal (but thanks anyway)
Ate a Bagel Sandwich at 6:00 AM and went to work a "second sale" at our SHUL.. 1st one we raised $4600 and this one $1250. Will be doing a third called a $2 SALE in 2 weeks (everything left over $2 or less) computer printers, monitors, paper shreaders, 8 place dish setting, over 800 books(hard & soft cover) all sorts of clothing etc etc...

Sunday was weird. My first day out of the office in a month. My wedding anniversary, too. We had committed to a 5yo bday party at a friends house and another for my 22yo BIL. Had a good time at the first, but weird. Met a nice couple that we have a lot in common with so will probably make some new friends out of it. Did not go to BIL's party. He lives 90 min away, and shouldn't be having bday parties anymore, anyway. Grow up. It didn't keep my wife from going. On our anniversary.
I watched alot of IRT and took a nap. It was actually a nice afternoon alone.
