HUMMER told its dealers today that it will sell the H3T pickup truck for less than its H3 SUV counterpart. The 2009 HUMMER H3T Pickup (http://www.hummerguy.net/2009-hummer-h3t-pickup-truck-info) will start at $31,495, a full $850 less than the SUV. With General Motors raising prices an average of 3.5% across the board (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/23/gm-launching-zero-percent-financing-sale-raises-prices-by-3-5-p/), this is a welcome sign to HUMMER and pickup truck buyers. On other models, GM explains the increase in price is due to product enhancements like Bluetooth capability (http://www.hummerguy.net/hummer-news/future-hummer-details-emerge-at-dallas-auto-show), upgraded OnStar features (http://www.hummerguy.net/hummer-news/onstar-adds-vehicle-slowdown-to-safety-repertoire), and powertrain upgrades. GM says rising fuel prices, as well as the weakening U.S. Dollar, have also impacted 2009 pricing.

The price line of $850.00 below the H3 forgets the discounts that add up to about $9k on the H3 with all the incentives currently out there...
Still not a bad deal for the T.

Too bad they didn't get a advanced 6 speed tranny ready or a overdrive option to beat the fuel problem that is killing the entire Hummer brand.

The 5 speed manuel trans looks better all the time. Just wish they could adapt the vette 6 speed trans and get that baby into the Hummer lineup to save the day

Don't forget this is 09 model year -- 08 model year H3 SUV is the ones w/ the 7k in rebates.

I think the price is spot on, but I don't expect much flex in the pricing initially. I was at the dealer's today picking up a headlight and they say the H3T is one of the only GM products that has a waiting list at some dealers!

I hope Hummer stays around, they could use hybrid technology in the H3 like the flex fuel/cylinder deactivation like in my Tahoe. The H3T looks awesome.
