I have 49000 on the stock tires and the sidewall blew a leak. Glad it was sitting in the driveway when it went down. Need to get a good floor jack.
I have the standard P275/ and I want some more rubber on the road. I spend most of my time on the highway. If I go to P265/ I will get wider and a little taller. My question is - will it throw off my speedometer by much?

not at all. It will be so minor!!! You could even fo to a 285 and still have your dealer change the calibration without issue and effecting mpg. Now if you went to a 315, you will be off about 6 mph at 55 and your mpg will decrease about 3mpg. hope that helps.

Thanks for the help. I did go up to P285 and they are alot better than the stock ones. My dealer even threw in a set of chrome wheels for an couple hundred extra. Not a bad deal, however I noticed the front pads were getting thin so I had to get a brake job. Better sooner than later.

Thanks again for all the info. :perfect10s:
